The Daily Mirror is today reporting news from French source Le Parisien that states that Carlo Ancelotti has already agreed terms with Real Madrid ahead of a move to take over from under-fire boss Jose Mourinho at the Bernabeu.

The former Chelsea and AC Milan manager is said to have made a verbal agreement with the Spanish giants and will leave big spending PSG at the end of the current campaign.

Ancelotti has helped guide PSG to the top of Ligue 1 and into the last 16 of the Champions League but is still seemingly not all that stable in his position at the French capital club, stating recently;

“Yes, I want to stay. But I know that, at the end of the season, the club will decide if it is happy or not with my work.”

Similarly Mourinho is strongly linked with a Real Madrid exit even though he helped the club to a La Liga crown last season.

The Portuguese boss has fallen out with a number of his star performers, resulting most recently in the surprising decision to drop skipper Iker Casillas in recent weeks, before the Spanish keeper then suffered a hand injury.
