Former Chelsea flop, and now Wolfsburg star Kevin De Bruyne has admitted that a big money move to Manchester City is a very tempting proposition.

De Bruyne had a standout season for Wolfsburg, helping to lead the Lower Saxony club to a second place finish behind Bayern Munich while also equalling the Bundesliga record for the most assists in a season with 20.

Following his disappointment at Chelsea the 23-year-old has now caught the attention of several of Europe’s top clubs including Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, but for all intents and purposes it is Manchester City that is preparing a big money move for the Belgium international.

“Of course you can’t ignore it. Everyone knows the teams. They all play for the title. That is not nothing,” he told The Sun.

“But at this moment I have not heard that there is a bid for me.

“If an offer does come, I will hear about it and how much it is — but I have not yet heard anything.”
