The Catalan giants have told Cesc Fabregas he can leave the Nou Camp but it will cost £30 million according to the BBC.

The club has already been in touch with several Premier League sides including Arsenal and Manchester United to let them know that the 27-year-old is available.

Arsenal remains favourites to re-sign the Spanish international after inserting a buy-back clause in his contract with Barcelona when he left the Emirates for £35 million back in 2011.

Fabregas joined the Gunners as a 15-year-old in 2003 going on to play 305 games for the club whilst also becoming captain.

His current contract at Barcelona still has two-years remaining and Barca’s value of £30 million does not seem too excessive for the man who has led La Liga in assists for the last two seasons.

Currently Fabregas is with the Spain squad preparing for their World Cup opener against the Netherlands on 13 June.
