Atletico Madrid boot-thrower Arda Turan is looking for a way out of the Vicente Calderón with Arsenal said to be ready to snap him up claims the Daily Star.

The Gunners may however face competition from Liverpool and Manchester United for the 28-year-old Turkish international who reportedly had a falling out with manager Diego Simeone after having thrown his boot at a linesman during a Copa del Rey match when he did not agree to a decision that went against him.

The trio of Premiership teams will not be the only ones interested in signing the midfielder with Paris Saint-Germain and top clubs in Germany and Italy also interested.

If Turan is sold Atletico would look for at least £22 million.
