In what we think is rather a strange move on the part of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger the Guardian is saying that after having missed out on Palermo hot-shot Paulo Dybala following the Argentinian striker decision to join Juventus for a fee believed to be around £30 million, the Gunners will make a move for the man they call the Lion King, Fernando Llorente.

The former Athletico Bilbao striker will be surplus to requirements in Turin, and has big fan in Gunners boss Arsene Wenger who is believed to be eager to bring him to the Emirates.

Like we have already said this move makes no sense to us as Llorente is 30-years-old and is a similar type of player as Olivier Giroud.

Arsenal does need to find another forward though, but we just do not see the Spaniard as the right man for the job.

One player who might be available that ticks all the boxes for us though, is Karim Benzema who at 27-years-old could be the man to help Arsenal challenge for the Premiership title next season.
