Now that Catalan giants Barcelona have let it be known that they are interested in signing Southampton defensive midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, Arsenal is prepared to make Southampton a huge offer in the summer so that Barcelona cannot agree a deal for him to join them in January when the clubs transfer ban is up.

Arsene Wenger has made Schneiderlin his top summer priority with reports in Spain saying that Arsenal is prepared to pay more than Barcelona in order to secure the Southampton star.
Currently Barcelona has scouts following the young Frenchman with rumours suggesting they are willing to pay around £22 million for him.
