Argentinian international Angel Di Maria has upset Manchester United fans by saying he made a mistake joining the club from Real Madrid last summer.
Since arriving at Old Trafford the talented winger has failed to adjust to life in the Premiership, leading to speculation that he will be leaving Old Trafford during the summer.
Spanish journalist Manuel ‘Manolete’ Esteban is reporting that DI Maria told friends that he regrets having left Real Madrid.
‘Di Maria has confessed to someone at Real Madrid that he regrets joining Manchester United,’ Esteban told Spanish TV show La Goleada.
His agent Jorge Mendes says that Di Maria is perfectly happy at Manchester United and will not be going anywhere during the summer.
