Arsenal, Mnachester City

Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna is set to open talks with Manchester City after this month’s FA Cup final between the Gunners and Hull City according to the Daily Mail.

The French international has been in long talks with Arsenal concerning his future at the club with his current contract at the Emirates coming to an end this summer.

Arsenal have made him what they call a final offer of a three-year deal worth £80,000 per-week but it falls way short of the £100,000 per-week that the 31-year-old was looking for, and now seems certain to leave at the end of the season.

The defenders advisors have already held talks with several foreign clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Galatasaray and Inter Milan, yet he has been unable to meet with domestic clubs such as Manchester City due to regulations that forbid same country talks until the end of the season.

The Frenchman wants to consider all options that are on the table before making his final decision.
