Three of England’s top clubs are now preparing their offers for Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Marco Reus after reports out of Italy carried by the Daily Star say the German giants are looking for Reus’s replacement in Serie A and that the Bundesliga club has now come to terms that they will be losing their star player.

The Italian reports suggest that Dortmund manager Jürgen Klopp is preparing a bid for AC Milan’s Stephan El Shaarawy now that he has given up any hope of convincing Reus to stay in Westphalia.

Klopp is thought to be a huge fan of the 22-year-old forward and will make the Milan goalscorer his number one target should Reus leave.

The news has the Premiership sides chomping at the bit knowing that Reus scored 23 goals in the German top flight last season and at only 25-years-old has plenty of football ahead of him still.
