Both Liverpool and Everton are set to go after Barcelona left-back Martin Montoya according to the Daily Mail.
The 23-year-old Spaniard has expressed his frustration over first team opportunities and his agent Juan de Dios Carrasco has come and set his client is now looking to leave the Nou Camp.
Juan de Dios Carrasco said: “There will be a meeting with Barcelona to communicate the decision we have already made. He will leave Barcelona in January.”
It will not be just the two Merseyside clubs who will be after Montoya with Serie A champs Juventus said to be interested along with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who is looking to add strength to a weakened defence.
