Sicilian Serie A side Palermo are in the process of trying to extend the contract of Argentinian striker Paulo Dybala knowing that the sharks of Liverpool and Arsenal are circling ready to make the young Argentinian an offer in January.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that Palermo is hoping to now place a release clause in Dybala’s contract and extend it till 2018 after losing a court case last month which will now see them have to pay £5 million to a third party.

The 21-year-old striker only last month turned down the chance to play for Italy preferring instead to play for the country of his birth Argentina, and for Palermo club president Maurizio Zamparini to even consider letting his young star leave it would take an offer of over £30 million.
