METRO is reporting that Arsenal have made an £18 million offer for Real Sociedad star Antoine Griezmann as they look to push ahead with summer signings.
The French winger has long been a target of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, with the Gunners only just missing out on signing him last January.
Despite interest from Juventus it is though the Griezmann would prefer the Premier League and is now ready for a move.
If the website TuttoMercato is to be believed however Arsenal has already lost the battle for the La Liga star with the website claiming the Frenchman will be returning to play in his native France after Paris Saint-Germain has met his buyout clause of £26 million.
If this is true it will be a huge setback for Arsenal who had decided to make the 23-year-old one of their big summer signings.
