New Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal looks as though he may embark on building a mini Holland national team at old Trafford after all the Dutch talent he is interested in signing for the club.

Yesterday we read of his determination to bring former Manchester United target Kevin Strootman to the club from AS Roma, and today the Daily Mirror is reporting that he has handed his dossier on Feyenoord pair Jordy Clasie and big centre-half Bruno Martins Indi to the United hierarchy in the hope that they will be with him when he takes over at United following the World Cup.

The 22-year-old Clasie has been likened by Robin van Persie as a young Paul Scholes and is seen as one of the biggest talents in Dutch football today forcing himself into the national teams midfield for the finals in Brazil along with Martins Indi who is now seen as the rock of Holland’s defence.

Given the fact that Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic will be leaving Old Trafford this summer van Gaal will be eager to thrash out a deal for the towering defender with Feyenoord.
