Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United

Arsenal has now along with Liverpool, Manchester United and Juventus joined the race to try and sign Barcelona striker Alexis Sanchez who starred last night for Chile as the South Americans sent defending Champions Spain packing from the World Cup finals in Brazil.

The Chilean international is said to be looking for a way out of the Nou Camp after having a falling out with Lionel Messi according to the Daily Star.

Reports out of Santiago suggest that Sanchez is fed up playing second fiddle to the Argentinian superstar and wants to quit La Liga and show what he is capable of in the Premiership.

Liverpool and Manchester United were the two top clubs chasing the 25-year-old, but now Arsene Wenger armed with £100 million is ready to crash the party and make Sanchez the world-class striker Arsenal has been looking for.

Manchester United’s new manager Louis van Gaal is not short of cash either as he looks to rebuild at Old Trafford, and Liverpool who could come under pressure from Real Madrid should they decide to go after Luis Suarez would certainly consider the Chilean striker as an option.

Reports are also suggesting that Italian Champions Juventus have held talks with Barcelona about bringing Sanchez back to Serie A where he played for Udinese before making a £30 million move to Spain three years ago.

During his three years at the Catalan giants Sanchez has made 118 appearances and scored 44 goals.
