Arsenal has been given the green light to sign Palermo star striker Paulo Dybala, with the Serie A club confirming that they are in talks with English teams.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is known to be a huge fan of the 21-year-old Argentinian, with plenty of talk in the press linking Arsenal with a summer move for Palermo’s top player.

Apparently a £30 million bid has already been made, with club president Maurizio Zamparini is confirming that he is in talks with Premiership clubs and that a deal is very close.

‘I’m speaking directly to the presidents of the teams interested in England,’ he told Sky Italia.

‘There is a lot of interest, the player is very good and we’ll try to find an agreement.’

Chelsea and Manchester United are the two other English teams that have been linked with Dybala, but it has always been Arsenal that was leading the chase.
