It has been some time in the making, but it would appear as if Arsenal is finally going to land long-time transfer target Yohan Cabaye in a deal said to be worth £10 million.
Arsenal has tried to sign the French international twice only to see him move to Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain last summer, but since moving to the Parc des Princes the 29-year-old central midfielder has had a hard time nailing down a staring place in Laurent Blanc’s team which according to reports has Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger confident of being able to sign him this summer.
Cabaye is said to be fed up with his situation at PSG, and Wenger thinks he can get him for just £10 million £5.5 million less than the French club paid to Newcastle United.
