Manchester United has been following the recent news regarding Liverpool forward Raheem Sterling’s refusal to sign a new £100,000 per-week deal with the Merseyside club , and are ready to enter the fray with a £50 million bid and a larger wage packet than the Reds are prepared to pay.

The Red Devils could face opposition for both Arsenal and Chelsea who regard the 20-year-old England international as a huge future star.

The English tabloid newspaper the Sun is running a story claiming that Manchester United is deadly serious about trying to land Sterling, and already have the money on hand to get a deal done.
