Arsenal has decided to enter the race to sign Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann after manager Arsene Wenger has singled out the 24-year-old Frenchman as a man who can help the Gunners challenge for the Premiership title next season according to the Star.

The former Real Sociedad player will not come cheap having a release clause of £43.5 million built into his contract, and while Wenger might hesitate at spending that kind of money on just one player it will not cause one of his other suitors Chelsea a second of added thought with the Blues not only looking at Griezmann, but Koke and Godin as well.

If Arsene Wenger is serious and can fend off other clubs that are looking at the French international, we feel he would be a good fit for the team, and another reason why Theo Walcott should start thinking about other options.
