In what could turn out to be a clever move for the Gunners Arsene Wenger has according to METRO made a £3.7 million bid for Borussia Dortmund right-back Kevin Grosskreutz, who is equally at home playing in the left-back position or in central midfield.
The 26-year-old has 18 months remaining on his contract with the Westphalia club, and would jump at the chance to join Arsenal after supporting them as a lad growing up.
