ANDERSON fears he and Nani could be seen as flops at Old Trafford.

The pair have struggled to get into the Manchester United first team.

And Anderson says they will have failed if they do not improve.

He said: “The only places you could go to from here are Real Madrid and Barcelona. You can’t have another choice.

“The level at Manchester United is massive. But when you haven’t played for two or three weeks, it is hard. A lot of top players came here and couldn’t do it… Juan Veron, Kleberson.

“When I take two steps forward I seem to take three back.”

Nani, 26, came off the bench and scored United’s opener in the 2-1 FA Cup win over Reading on Monday.

And Brazilian Anderson, 24, hopes he and the Portugal winger can become regulars.

He said: “Nani won the game for us. But that could be me, Nani, anyone.”
