With so much criticism of the Ivorian midfielder, Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes Yaya Toure’s form could be suffering as he comes to terms with his brother’s death.

Instead of castigating him like so many have done, Manuel Pellegrini offered the club’s full support to his star midfielder.

The angle he came from is highly inspiring and this may be the turning point for Yaya Toure.

Footballers are also humans and they want to be loved by fans and employers.

Yaya had an issue over the presentation of birthday cake from the club earlier in the year but that couldn’t have dropped his form.

He doesn’t look as hungry as he used to be, the body language on the pitch of play says it all and he has been below the standards he set during a brilliant 2013-14 campaign, with critics hammering on a drop of the midfielder after a dismal display at the Allianz Arena in the champions league.

The 31 year old midfielder has been criticised after having a tough summer which led to a reported transfer away from Manchester City and many believe the midfielder is past his peak and may have to look away from the Etihad to get motivated again.

The manager has come out to give a better option as to why the midfielder is struggling, which makes lot of sense from the perspective he came from with him insisting the loss of Yaya’s younger brother, Ibrahim to cancer in June may be the major reason for the loss of form.

Very few must have seen from that angle Pellegrini is looking from and if that’s the reason for his loss of form, it will take a while for Yaya Toure to come back to his best.

Losing a loved one can be demoralizing and affect a whole lot of things in anyone’s life and the loss of Ibrahim to Yaya Toure is definitely the same especially when it was claimed that Manchester City stopped him from visiting his dying brother at a point.

Yaya Toure has always been a big game player for Manchester City and a slight run of poor form shouldn’t see him castigated and neglected because the player has given so much to the team and he is one of the reasons why they are in this top position today.

Yaya Toure may have dropped his form but showing him so much love may help bring it back.

It may not be the first time he has struggled to cope with criticism but the dynamic big figured midfielder must get himself back to full fitness and good display as soon as possible although the loss of his brother remains unfortunate.
