Usain Bolt has now officially become a footballer after being handed a short term contract with the team he supports Manchester United.

The Jamaican sprinter has new been shy about his love of football, often saying that he thinks he is good enough to play alongside Wayne Rooney.

United manager Louis van Gaal has now given the man who can run 100 metres in 9.58 seconds a chance to prove himself in United’s reserves.

It is still not sure when the 28-year-old will link up with the team though as he still has some athletic commitments to honour first.
