Chelsea, Rooney, Mourinho, MAN United,

Manchester United have opened up talks with Chelsea over the future of England international Wayne Rooney, but are asking for Juan Mata to be a part of any deal according to reports from Goal.com .
Despite denials from Manchester United that Rooney is not for sale the northwest club could be interested in a deal if it would involve the Spanish international moving to Old Trafford.
The main sticking point at the moment appears to be the price both sides feel the United striker is worth with united looking for £40 million while Chelsea value him at around £30 million.
Several reports suggest that Chelsea offered Mata as part of an earlier deal with the Red Devils now considering their position after failing to sign targeted midfielders Thiago Alcantara, and Cesc Fabregas.
Insiders believe that Manchester United would allow Rooney to leave if Mata were to be included in any deal.
Although the Blues rejected those reports, United would be interested in selling Rooney if Chelsea were willing to let Mata move to Old Trafford, and while Chelsea would be reluctant to see Mata go to a rival if it meant landing Rooney all options are on the table.
