Following the loss of Lukas Podolski to Inter Milan the Gunners now appear ready to let both Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell also depart the Emirates.

Spanish La Liga side Villarreal have now entered the race for Costa Rican striker Campbell, who is also wanted by David Moyes at Real Sociedad.

Campbell will only be allowed to leave on loan, and is expected to sign a new contract with Arsenal when his agent arrives in London later this week.

Campbell is desperate for first team football, and feels that a move to Spain will suit his playing style.

Sunderland and Aston Villa are both interested in Sanogo, despite French Ligue 1 club Bordeaux claiming that they have already agreed terms with the north London club for the 21-year-old to join them on loan.

Club president Jean-Louis Triaud said: “Sanogo has chosen Bordeaux. He wants to come. It is a certainty.”

The French club want to have Sanogo ready to play against Monaco on Sunday, and want to hear one way or another from Arsenal as soon as possible.
