Turkish giants Fenerbahce are now in the driving seat to complete a move for Manchester United winger Luis Nani after learning that red Devils manager Louis van Gaal had no intention of bringing the Portuguese international back to Old Trafford following his season long loan at Sporting Lisbon.
Portuguese Champions Benfica put a bid in for the 28-year-old, but Nani rejected it out of hand as he would not play for any other club in Portugal other than Sporting Lisbon after having come through their academy.
This has now opened the door for Fenerbahce to bring him to Istanbul according to Turkishfootball.com.
