One place a few of the top clubs in the English Premier League need to address this summer is in their goalkeeping situation, and while Slovenian international Samir Handanovic may not be everyone’s first choice keeper he is certainly a very highly experienced number two whose contract with Inter Milan is up in 2016.

According to this morning’s daily Corriere della Sera in Italy, the Nerazzurri have offered the 30-year-old 2.5€ million to stay at the San Siro while the Slovenian number one wants at least 3€ million to sign a new deal.

Liverpool will be losing Brad Jones in the summer with boss Brendan Rodgers still not 100% certain about Simon Mignolet after a couple of mistakes in the loss to Arsenal.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger may also be willing to let Wojciech Szczesny leave in the summer following the Poles poor performance and attitude after being dropped for David Ospina.

As for Manchester United the Red Devils already have Victor Valdes in place should they lose David De Gea to Real Madrid, and by bringing in Samir Handanovic they would have not only a solid number two, but an excellent keeper to use in domestic Cup matches.
