CARLOS TEVEZ would “die” to return to Boca Juniors – but fears Manchester City will price him out of a move.

The 29-year-old began his career with the Argentina outfit, spending three years at the club before leaving for Corinthians in 2004.

He confirmed his intention to eventually return to his homeland to an Argentina radio station – but does not expect it to be this summer.

Tevez said: “I would die to return to Boca, my daughter asks me about that.

“But it’s very difficult at this moment, who would pay the transfer fee?

“When I didn’t play, City didn’t want to transfer me to Milan for £17million, so now that I am playing it’s even move difficult.

“I will be back [in Argentina] at the age of 33.”
