According to the Daily Express Arsenal has told Polish international goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny that he is free to leave the club during the summer, with Gunners manager Arsene Wenger lining up Liverpool goalkeeper target Norberto Neto as his replacement.

Szczesny lost his place in the team to number two keeper David Ospina following a series of bad games and getting caught smoking in the showers following the loss to Southampton.

It would now appear that Wenger intends to keep Colombian international Ospina in goal until the end of the season after which time he will go after Fiorentina keeper Neto who is out of contract with the Serie A side.

Arsenal however will not be alone in their desire to sign the Brazilian with the 25-year-old also the interest of Liverpool and Juventus.

Neto however is said to be leaning towards a move to the Emirates should Wenger make an approach in June.
