Manchester United appears to have won the signature of Dinamo Kiev star Aleksandar Dragovic after the 23-year-old turned down an offer by Arsene Wenger to play for Arsenal, with the Gunners now turning their attention to Villarreal’s Gabriel Paulista who is due to report to the Emirates for a medical.

Dragovic has been impressive for Kiev since joining the Ukrainian club in 2013 from FC Basel, and plays internationally for Austria notching up 35 senior caps for his country.

According to the Daily Express the centre-back has decided to sign for Manchester United in a deal believed to be worth around £15 million.

United manager Louis van Gaal has been looking to bolster his defence, and has looked at a number of possible targets including Borussia Dortmund’s Mats Hummels and Valencia’s Nicolas Otamendi, but decided to go for Dragovic due to his value and age when compared to the other candidates.

Another possible Red Devil signing before the window closes is £26 million rated Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

We will be keeping a close eye on developments regarding the Belgium international and will let you know should United make a move.
