Super-agent Jorge Mendes has come out and said that there is no agreement in place between former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and Manchester United, but has refused to rule out the possibility of a deal being done.

With the growing uncertainty over the future of Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal up in the air when the 49-year-old was asked about the rumours linking Mourinho to Old Trafford said: ‘There is nothing.’
‘We don’t know what will happen in the future, but now there is no agreement. There isn’t an official proposal either, that’s not true.’
