According to reports coming out of Italy AS Roma have pulled out of talks for Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris after the north London club told them his price was £22.5 million.
The Italians are scouring Europe for a goalkeeper and are even considering Chelsea number two Petr Cech.
Lloris remains manager Rudi Garcia’s preferred choice and has asked his board to try and thrash out a deal.
Italian spots daily Corriere dello Sport, is reporting that Roma have been blown away after Tottenham told them they wanted 30€ million for the 28-year-old Frenchman.
Since arriving from Lyon in 2012 Lloris has become a vital part of Tottenham and would never be sold on the cheap, and with Roma saying they cannot spend more than £15 million it appears that all bets are off.
