Gazzetta Dello Sport claim the arrival of Juan Cuadrado’s agent Alessandro Lucci in London has not gone unnoticed.

Lucci did a tour of tour clubs last summer on the back of his clients World Cup success before the Colombian winger signed a new contract with La Viola with the club inserting a £26 million release clause.

Chelsea has supposedly made an offer of £19.5 million which surprisingly is the figure being talked about for Wolfsburg target Andre Schurrle.

Fiorentina Manager Vincenzo Montella is hoping that his club resist the temptation to sell, but if Chelsea does in fact activate the players release clause he will have no time to find a replacement.

Adding to the rumours Italian daily Corriere Della Sera is reporting that there are a few Chelsea execs “cautiously optimistic” a deal can be done this month.
