After having undergone a medical Serbian winger Lazar Markovic is all set to join Liverpool with us all just waiting now for news from Anfield that the assumed £20 million deal has gone through.
The 20-year-old could not however wait to show how happy he was to have swapped the famous red shirt of Benfica for that of the Merseyside giants posting a photo of him holding a Liverpool shirt on his Facebook page.
Markovic now becomes manager Brendan Rodgers fourth signing this summer as the club prepare to take part once more in the Champions League after a five year absence, and with former striker Luis Suarez in Barcelona to complete his transfer you can bet Markovic will not be the last player Liverpool sign before the end of August.
