Russian Models force German team to change Winter Training Camp

 

Unlike in England, German football clubs get a six week break halfway through the season that allows the teams to set up a winter training camp where the weather is more favourable.

Unfortunately for the players of third tier German club MSV Duisburg their training camp location in Antalya, Turkey had to be changed when they found out they would have to share their seaside hotel with 400 Russian models.

The explanation for the change can be found on the club’s website:

We want to prepare for the season in the second half, however, calmly.
