Russian club Rubin Kazan has put Arsenal and a few other Premiership clubs on alert after announcing that French international Yann M’Vila and former Liverpool youngster Chris Mavinga will be free to leave the club during the summer according to the Daily Express.

Ever since 56-year-old Rinat Bilyaletdinov became the manager of Rubin Kazan in January both M’Vila and Mavinga have found themselves to be outsiders as the new manager aims to bring more Russian players into his team.

Reports in Russia are saying that 23-year-old M’Vila who is currently in France having treatment for an injury is keen to prove himself in the Premiership.

M’Vila was linked with a possible January transfer to Liverpool after being photographed in the stands at Anfield, but in the end nothing came of all the speculation and he remained in Russia.

The defensive midfielder was linked with a move to Arsenal a couple of years ago, but left Rennes for Russia rather than London, and despite the fact he is still serving an 18-month ban with France after an unauthorised night out while on under-21 duty he would certainly be of interest to several Premiership clubs if the price was right.
