Spanish giants real Madrid are getting ready to present their bid for Tottenham’s Gareth Bale now that new manager Carlo Ancelotti is in place.

They think that a cash plus player bid will be enough for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to change his mind on keeping the young winger and let him move to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

So far Tottenham have resisted all talk surrounding the Welsh international telling all suitors that their prized asset is not for sale; however Real Madrid thinks that offering their Argentinian winger Angel Di Maria plus cash might get the Spurs boss to take his gingers out of his ears.

Speaking at a press conference following the announcement that he was the new manager of Los Blancos Ancelotti said:

“This team is very good, but there could be some changes. But it doesn’t need much.”

The changes he is talking about are of course the 23-year-old Bale, and also the possibility of Liverpool’s Luis Suarez and Napoli’s Edinson Cavani.

Tottenham are thought to have a new contract ready for the Welshman and are willing to pay him £170,000 a week, but with Madrid intent on getting Bale at all costs and Manchester United also expressing interest we are set for a tough battle to see where one of the worlds most wanted players ends up.
