Spanish giants Real Madrid are plotting a January raid for Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Ramires.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is putting together plans now ahead of the January transfer window and has already instructed the clubs scouts as to possible signings.

Real Madrid is plotting a £15million swoop for Chelsea midfielder Ramires ahead of the January transfer window.

With doubts over the future of Xabi Alonso the Italian is believed to be looking at Ramires as a possible replacement for the 31-year-old Spaniard.

Los Blancos has previously been linked to Tottenham’s Paulinho, but it is thought that Ramires is Ancelotti’s number one target.

Real Madrid would probably have to pay the Blues £15 million for the 26-year-old Ramires, and will be closely watching his progress between now and the New Year.

Ancelotti first signed Ramires for Chelsea while he was manager at Stamford Bridge so knows exactly what he is getting should he bring him to Madrid.

If Ramires was to depart London it could also open up the possibility of Alonso returning for a second spell at Liverpool.
