Real Madrid player helps disadvantaged families

Real Madrid’s Portuguese defender Pepe often finds himself at the centre of controversy on the field with some of his hard man tactics, but it is off the field where the 31-year-old has shown his kind heart buy buying 9,000 kilos of food to distribute to 200 poor families in his Las Rozas neighbourhood.

Pepe comes from a poor working class background in Brazil, and came up with the idea of giving out the food parcels to ensure that even the poorest of families in the neighbourhood where he lives will have a memorable Christmas.
