German international midfielder Mesut Özil has quashed the rumors suggesting that he has played his last game for Arsenal by expressing his commitment to the Gunners on Twitter.

Reports suggested by METRO spoke of the German who is currently out of action with a knee injury would be leaving for Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich even before he regained full fitness in a £30 million deal.

The 25-year-old put an end to all the speculation by declaring he was not finished yet in north London writing:

‘Thanks for your support following my injury,’

‘I’ll come back on the pitch soon as I can to help #AFC. Now and in the future.’

The World Cup winner also seemed to have a poke at the Bayern rumour by writing ‘#MiaSanArsenal’

This phrase loosely translated into English means ‘we are who we are’ a song often heard on the terraces in Munich.
