NO NEED TO PANIC – LOUIS VAN GAAL

The conclusion of 2014 FIFA world cup saw Louis Van Gaal return to Old Trafford in July and since the inception, the Dutch manager has asked for calmness and recently reminded fans of no reason to panic even on the back of the 5-3 defeat at Leicester in the English Premier League.

The manager seems calm and sure of his plans actualising in the near future and he doesn’t look too bothered with the present happenings.
Since his arrival, he has already asked for at least three months of patience and support from the club and fans for the players to adapt to the new ideas and philosophy.
Manchester United’s 4-0 win over QPR seemed to be a morale boaster until they fluffed it away at Leicester City losing 5-3 and this is despite van Gaal defending his players saying that they are not robots and therefore are certain to make errors.

This may be one of the toughest jobs that the Dutchman has taken on, and with a growing injury concern at the back thrown in to add to the task is certainly not helping matters either.

Despite the obvious problems van Gaal seems to have brought with him a belief that everything will in the long run turn out well which has not deterred big name players from signing for United.

This call for patience is not resonating too well with some of the United faithful however with a few voices starting to suggest that van Gaal’s fate may be the same as former manager David Moyes as the Red Devils already sit eight points behind league leaders Chelsea so early into the season.

United will have to gain important points from the next few games to stay in contention. The team is presently in transition and it will possibly take some time for them to get the deserved balance in their bid to return back to the top in English football.

Many United fans believe in Louis Van Gaal and his approach and are excited with the style of play they’ve seen so far and they seem patient enough to watch the Dutchman transform the club into the big team once more and also create the fear factor that United was once known for. It might take a while but it’s almost sure Manchester United will get to that level in the quickest possible time especially with the arrival of some top summer signings.

In fact it will be disappointing if Manchester United doesn’t make the top four this season despite the heavy spending in the summer transfer window.
LVG has called for calmness and it’s high time that managers are allowed to work and stop being distracted by so many media speculations.
