It appears as if Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley has had enough of Premier League football and is now ready to sell one of the best supported clubs in the country for what seems to many an incredibly cheap price of only £267 million.
Ashley has invested in the club following the advice of so called experts only to see his club narrowly miss relegation last season.
The Newcastle fans have turned against the owner especially since the controversial appointment of Joe Kinnear as the director of football with the Magpies supporters group issuing a statement saying:” We call for Mike Ashley to consider his position as owner of Newcastle United and to begin a process of exiting before he does any more damage to either the club or his own reputation. “
