MANCHESTER UNITED will be without Nani for 10 days after the winger picked up a hamstring injury against Braga.

The Portugal international, 25, was replaced by Rafael 17 minutes from time as United won 3-1 in the Champions League on Wednesday.

And boss Alex Ferguson has confirmed he will sit out tomorrow’s trip to Aston Villa.

Fergie said: “Nani is out with a tight hamstring. It will be about 10 days.”

Central defender Jonny Evans is also struggling with a groin injury ahead of the Villa Park showdown, which could mean a second game in four days for Chris Smalling.

Ferguson added: “Jonny is a doubt.

“It is not a serious one but we are monitoring it and hopefully he will be OK.”
