Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho was talking about his teams Premiership lead in his post-match interview following the 2-3 win over Hull City at the KC Stadium yesterday, and could not help rehash the supposed campaign he thinks the media and referees were waging against his west London club.

Chelsea is now poised to win the title six points clear of second place Manchester City with a game in hand, yet Mourinho claims his lead should be 10 or 12 points clear of their nearest rivals.

The Portuguese manager said that under “normal” circumstances Chelsea’s lead would be double, and while he did not go into the finer points his message was a clear pointer to the campaign against Chelsea that he says has been waged since Christmas.
