After having tracked Valencia’s central defender Nicolas Otamendi for the past 12 months it would appear as if Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has got his first summer signing following claims in Spain say Otamendi has agreed terms with the Red Devils and is all set for a move this summer.
The only possible hiccup that would stop the 27-year-old Argentinean international from moving to Old Trafford would be if United were to try and contest Valencia’s £36.9 million buyout clause, and with United already knowing it would cost to sign him before entering into negotiations it would appear as if a deal will go through without any problems.
