Manchester United are looking to add to their one Mexican, Javier Hernandez, this summer if the country’s media are correct about interest.

Manchester United have been watching two Mexican internationals

The Premier League leaders have been linked to two young Mexican players ahead of possible transfer activity this summer.

Hernandez burst onto the scene at Old Trafford and although he probably hasn’t done as well this season as he and the club would have wished, he’s been a good value buy. Mexican football is on the up and last year they won the Gold Cup with a young team.

They’ll be ones to watch at this summer’s Olympic football tournament and no doubt Premier League scouts will be out in force.

Terra claim United have been looking at Diago Reyes and Alan Pulido. Reyes is a 19 year old centre back currently playing for Club America, where he came through the youth team.

He’s represented Mexico at youth levels and made 3 appearances for the full national side. He’s expected to take part in the London Olympics this summer and has been part of preparations for the that squad.

Alan Pulido is two years older at 21 and is a striker for Tigres, he’s also come through the Mexican national youth ranks and is involved with the senior set up.

He was linked to United previously, in February the Daily Mail said the club were preparing a £4m bid for the player He helped Mexico qualify for the Olympics so is another one to watch this summer.

There looks to be value in the market for Mexican players and if United can bring players of Hernandez’s class over for relatively cheap fees then it’s certainly worth doing.
