According to what the Daily Star calls an exclusive, Manchester United is on the verge of completing the signing of Southampton defensive midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
The report suggests that Southampton has accepted a £20 million offer that will rise to £25 million based on the 25-year-old performance at Old Trafford, and that the French international will see his current Saints wage of £60,000 per-week double to £120,000 once he signs for the Red Devils.
Meanwhile Arsenal and Tottenham also get a mention, but it appears news of Manchester United having got their man is imminent.
