Southampton defender Nathaniel Clyne is now set to undergo his medical next week before completing a structured £15 million move to Liverpool.
The two clubs are currently negotiating a £12.5 million fee for the England international full-back with a further £2.5 million to be paid based on performance bonuses.
Clyne is coming to Anfield as a direct replacement for Liverpool right back Glen Johnson who is now a free agent after having not signed a new contract to remain on Merseyside.
