Manchester United is reportedly ready to offer Southampton Mexican international striker Javier Hernandez in exchange for England international right-back Nathaniel Clyne  in a deal worth £25.7 million.

Speculation over Clyne’s future has grown all season and only increased after the 23-year-old was called up to the England squad.

Hernandez was already deemed surplus to requirements by team boss Louis van Gaal who dispatched the 26-year-old forward on a season long loan at Real Madrid, and now not wanting him back at Old Trafford LVG is willing to offer Hernandez to Southampton, along with £15 million in the hope of landing Clyne.
