It may have been Fernando Torres and Koke that got all the applause last night in Atletico Madrid’s 2-0 win over Getafe at the Vincente Calderon, but for us the moment of the game was when Manchester United summer target Jose Maria Gimenez dived to block the ball with his head and prevent what would have been an almost certain goal for Fredy Hinestroza.
And while we know Atletico trainer Diego Simone calls for 100% commitment from his team we feel that the 20-year-old Uruguayan defender went above and beyond as you can see in the Video below.
