Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria appears close to ending his Old Trafford nightmare later today according to reports in France that say the Red Devils have accepted a £46 million offer from French champions Paris Saint-Germain to take the Argentinian international to the Parc des Princes.

The Daily Star ran an article on Wednesday saying that PSG assistant sporting director Olivier Letang had flown to London last weekend to start negotiations with United chief executive Ed Woodward over a deal for the 27-year-old, which appears to have been successful, with Di Maria now not expected to fly out to America and join up with the team on their pre-season tour.

As for losing the talented winger, Louis van Gaal has already lined up Barcelona winger Pedro with news of a deal expected over the weekend.
